The Wed­ding Stan­dard is ded­i­cated to bring to light all of the rad wed­ding artists and venues here in Cal­i­for­nia. We fea­ture wed­ding pro­fes­sion­als that are the best of the best, peo­ple who don’t just work for a pay­check, but who work for a love for their craft and have a pas­sion for what they do. Artists inter­viewed are those that don’t set­tle for medi­oc­rity in what they do, they see their busi­ness as not only a ser­vice but more impor­tantly… as an art form. They are those who are pas­sion­ate about their craft and are rais­ing a stan­dard of excel­lence in the wed­ding industry.

I’ve been pho­tograph­ing wed­dings since I was not even old enough to have a glass of wine! For me pho­tog­ra­phy has been always been more of a call­ing than a occu­pa­tion. I’ve believed since the day I started my busi­ness that I was made to be a wed­ding photographer. I’m a dreamer by nature. Since the begin­ning ‘wed­ding pho­tog­ra­phy’ has been my BIG DREAM. I’ve been blessed to travel the world and live my dream this past decade! I’m excited to see my dream grow beyond just me.

 Because I’m so pas­sion­ate about being cre­ative, I’m con­stantly attracted to artists and entre­prenuers. Any­one that has a gift­ing or a pas­sion for some­thing –I want to see them do it; not just dream about it! It became nat­ural for me in 2008 to start broad­cast­ing the great wed­ding artists that I’ve worked with over the years. The Wed­ding Stan­dard was born out of my love for peo­ple and wed­dings. My hope is that The Wed­ding Stan­dard would con­nect cou­ples with the right artists and venues and that it would give fan­tas­tic expo­sure to the dream­ers who are sim­ply doing what they were cre­ated for.

I’m a DJ who uses turnta­bles.
I eat, sleep & drink wed­dings.
I’ve been pro­fes­sion­ally DJing wed­dings since 2002… yep, 10 years!
I film wed­dings on Super 8 with my wife, Gina, when I’m not DJing wed­dings.
We film wed­dings all over Cal­i­for­nia, the US, and Hawaii.
Some­times I DJ & Film the same wed­ding.
Whether I’m DJing or Film­ing a wed­ding, we always work with awe­some artists.
When I’m not work­ing on a wed­ding, I’m work­ing on The Wed­ding Stan­dard.
